To celebrate a decade of Startups.co.uk, Crimson is launching a new range of expert business start-up titles.

Managing director David Lester said: ‘we’ve got the strongest brand in the country in this space but we haven’t been using it…we’re now trying to use our brand credentials to make a difference.’ At least twelve new titles will be rolled out by next summer with scope for lots more, all providing advice to readers looking to start and build their businesses. Lester added: ‘in the current economic situation new businesses are going to be critical in trying to help build the economy.’

The first titles in the Startups series will be:
Accounting for Small Business Made Easy
Bright Marketing for Small Business
How to Start a Successful Business
Online Marketing for Small Business
Starting Your Own Online Business and
Start Your Own Business 2011

They will be published as paperbacks in September costing between £10.99 and £17.99.

One of the reasons for doing the books in the first place, Lester said, is that people often don’t like reading that much text online. The brand new books will be laid out in a magazine style with features such as action points, where to go for more information, advice and case studies. Lester added: ‘we have access to so many entrepreneurial people that we come across, so there be lots of tips and anecdotes from them. It comes to life a lot more than just a simple text book.’
